Beef and Sweet Potato Casserole with Feta

Ingredients — 4 Servings

  • 3 pieces sweet potatoes
  • 1 piece cooking onion, raw
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 500 g ground beef
  • to taste pepper and salt
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 150 g reduced-fat feta
  • 100 ml UHT low-fat milk, 1.5% fat, lactose-free
  • 1 piece chicken egg yolk, raw
  • 120 g mozzarella, at least 20% fat in dry matter
  • to taste oregano, dried

Instructions

    Peel the sweet potatoes and simmer them in a pot with hot water for about 20 minutes.

    In the meantime, peel and finely chop the onion and garlic cloves, and add them to a pan.

    Add the ground beef, mix, and sauté. Season with pepper and salt, tomato paste, and oregano.

    Slice the cooked sweet potatoes and cover the bottom of a baking dish (25.5 x 16.5 cm) with half of the potatoes.
