Your Thermomix can do everything. Except tell you what's in the portion.

Your Thermomix can do everything. Except tell you what's in the portion.

The Thermomix can chop, knead, steam, emulsify and probably organize your life on the side.

One thing, however, is surprisingly often missing: a quick look at how many calories and how much protein are in the portion that just finished cooking.

Cookidoo shows you recipes. A lot of recipes. But at some point the question comes: does this actually fit my day? And when am I even going to cook it?

Thousands of recipes. Zero plan for Thursday.

If you have Cookidoo you know the feeling. You scroll through cream soups, mince sauces and pasta with cream cheese and think: yes. That. All of it.

Then it's Wednesday, you're hungry, and the only system you have is "something with pumpkin."

Finding a recipe isn't the problem. Deciding on one is.

Connect Cookidoo. Takes less time than one blending round.

Three steps and you're done:

1. In Foodisco open Profile → Integrations → Cookidoo.

2. Tap Connect.

3. Log in with your Cookidoo credentials.

That's it. A Cookidoo account is required. Which recipes you see there depends, as always, on your Cookidoo access.

And afterwards?

Afterwards you can browse Thermomix recipes with nutrition values and put them into your weekly plan.

Calories and macros per serving sit right at the recipe. They are calculated automatically, so you don't have to type ingredients one by one into some calculator.

And a recipe with a place in the weekly plan eventually actually gets cooked.

Revolutionary, we know. 🪩

What stays in Cookidoo, what comes to Foodisco

So there's no confusion:

The exact ingredients and the individual preparation steps you still find in Cookidoo itself. That's where cooking belongs.

Foodisco adds what Cookidoo rarely puts in the center: nutrition and planning. What's on the table today? How does it fit the rest of the week? What do I need to buy?

The Thermomix takes care of cooking. You only take care of the decision.

That's a lot less effort than it sounds.

The nutrition values are estimates. But very practical ones.

Fairly said: the values are calculated automatically from the ingredients. They are not a lab result.

But they are plenty to keep an overview of lunch and dinner without spending half an hour weighing ingredients first.

For everyday life, that's usually exactly the right level of accuracy.

And what about recipes from blogs and videos?

Those simply come in by link. Foodisco can import recipes from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook or websites.

How that works is in our article Screenshot saved. Recipe lost. Welcome to the internet.

What to take home from the party

Your Thermomix doesn't need to become a nutrition advisor as well.

Connect Cookidoo, look at what's in the portion, plan the recipe and let the machine do what it does best.

Less "What do I cook today?" More "It's Tuesday, so pumpkin soup."

And if you'd like to try it: Foodisco is saving you a spot next to the mixing bowl. 🪩
