Spare Ribs

Ingredients — 4 Servings

  • 2 kg ribs
  • 400 ml ketchup
  • 400 ml cola
  • 8 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tsp pepper
  • 3 tsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 3 tbsp spice mix

Instructions

    Remove the silverskin from the ribs and cut them into pieces.

    For the sauce, combine all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.

  3. 3

    Place the ribs in a roasting pan and pour over 2/3 of the sauce, mixing well.

  4. 4

    Cover the roasting pan with a lid and place in the oven at 120 degrees Celsius fan for 2-3 hours. Meanwhile, check if the meat is starting to come off the bone easily.

  5. 5

    Once the meat is tender, remove the ribs from the roasting pan.
