- 125 g long-grain rice
- 80 g onion
- 150 g carrot
- 250 ml vegetable broth
- 250 g chicken breast fillets
- to taste pepper and salt
- 140 g peas, canned
- 50 ml milk, 1.5% fat
- 1.5 tsp cornstarch

First, prepare the long-grain rice according to the package instructions.

Then peel the onion and cut it into large pieces.

Next, cut ⅓ of the carrot into large pieces and bring it to a boil in a pot along with the onion pieces and vegetable broth.

Now add the chicken breast fillets along with pepper and salt to the pot and let it simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.

In the meantime, cut the remaining carrot into small cubes and drain the peas.
